Helpful Hints

Follow these guidelines to ensure that your experience at Riverfest is fun, safe, and hastle-free!

  • Before you come to Riverfest, familiarize yourself with the directions and parking lots so you know where you're going.
  • Don't bring food, alcohol, cans, bottles, pets, video equipment, recording devices, laser pointers, skateboards, scooters, bikes, coolers, coasters, carry-in bags, or anything that could be considered a safety hazard into the festival grounds.
  • Expect that you and your belongings will be searched by Riverfest Security Personnel upon entering the festival grounds. These searches will be made to ensure the safety of all guests at Riverfest.
  • Festival information is available at each gate. If you have any questions while you're at Riverfest, please feel free to ask any of the staff or security personnel.
  • Most vendors will accept cash only, but there are ATM/TYME machines at the north and south gates for your use.
  • Be SAFE - pick a designated driver. Do not put yourself, your party, or others at risk with an intoxicated driver.
  • You can bring your own blankets or standard lawn chairs into the festival, but no "chaise" lounge chairs are allowed.
  • Decide on a meeting place ahead of time should your group or family become separated, and always supervise younger children. Child identification services are provided at the north and south gates.
  • First aid & baby changing stations are provided by Beloit Memorial Hospital. See the grounds map for a location.
  • Patrons with medical conditions like asthma or diabetes should bring their prescribed medications with them. You should have immediate access to any medication you may need.
  • Make sure you drink plenty of fluids and have a good meal to prepare yourself for being in a crowd. If you start to feel dizzy or excessively hot, move to a less populated area and cool down before reentering the crowd. If you need further assistance, visit the First Aid tent or alert Riverfest Security.
  • Always carry an ID, important phone numbers and any pertinent medical information in case of an emergency.
  • You can find hotel and camping information at Visit Beloit or by calling 800-4-BELOIT.
